Hi I'm JimLeBass

New to this site so a little about me and my gear. My name is Jim Lott AKA JimLeBass, I have been playing longer than I care to remember and I am currently in a band in Bristol called the Midnite Blues Band.
I have two basses, and several guitars. The first bass is a semi-acoustic EKO that I purchased for £25.00 in 1978 and it is still going strong. My main axe now is a Mexican Fender Jazz in Midnight Blue bought as a birthday present by my partner Carole in the early 90's. I used to have an original Rickenbaker 4001, purchased new in 1965/66 for around £150.00. But then I got married and bills started coming in, the only thing of any value was the Ricy and I sold it for £75.00. This is the biggest regret of my life. I no longer have the wife either but I don't regret that!!
My amplification is an Ashdown ABM300 head into a 210 cabinet for rehearsals and joined with a single 15 cbinet for gigs. As the name suggests we play mainly blues but there is a little pop and rock'n'Roll thrown in for good measure. The band can be heard on myspace/midnitebluesband.
