Been playing for almost two years now, and have been playing on a Stagg BC 300 J-Style. It's an imitation Fender Jazz, but everyone's been telling me that Stagg is one of the best brands for low-end basses. Anyway, I like it a lot, it sounds awesome. I think the tone control could be a little more productive, and the stock strings were garbage. But, I'm going to get a real Fender Jazz soon, and will turn this Stagg into a fretless with flatwounds when I do.

I started with a POS with a screwed machinehead on my 'E", dropped 'D' itself all the time ...LOL.
My first was and is my BC Rich Warlock, I call it The Bitch. It's a hammer.
I just got an ESP LTD 5-string. Fast-action and the sustain is just SIC!

Lakland 55-02 Deluxe. I can get some nice tones out of it, and the neck feels fabulous.

Currently My Main bass is a Schecter Diamond series Elite 4. PLays easily as well as my Old rick 4001 played.
I have a MIM Pbass as my backup and am restoring a Bizarre Gibson EB series I found. Has Like a Classical Guitar head and the keys face backwards instead of out side to side. Of course , it IS a Gibson EB0 (1 -2-3- or something), so it only has ONE sound .. lol . but its serial number says it was made in 1967 0r 8. One of those two years though.I've always had a Fondness for those basses. Wasn't the first one I owned, ( That was a Mosrite Ventures series) but I had a Lot of fun gigging with one.
